The Scratch - Single - Girls World - Toxic Pete Review

Dear Scratchers,

Here's the first review for our forthcoming single...

Can't seem to do anything wrong!! Everything's so ass-kickin' punchy and bloody commercial. Who else then but The Scratch? This is The Scratch's latest single release, 'Girls World'; yet another fine and fulsome piece of Scratch rockin' balls, yet another chunk of attitudinal Scratch punk, yet another piece of Scratch power pop. Put it on, max it out, jump in the mosh pit and let fly - The Scratch should carry a Government Health Warning; 'Beware - dangerous attitude ahead - either rock out or rock off!!'

These guys seem to be on a real roll at the moment; The Scratch just keep on churnin' out more and more of this high quality, high octane rockin' pop and they don't seem able to put a foot wrong!! The term 'prolific' doesn't say enough about this outfit's musical productivity and The Scratch have a natural youthful energy that seems to feed their creative hunger. Here they've done it again; they blast headlong through 'Girls World' and leave massive holes through the ether in their wake. Not enough for The Scratch that they've gone and done it again with a great 'a' side - they then give you an equally aggressive 'b' side in 'Sweet Surprise' - the guys are on fuckin' fire!
'Girls World' by The Scratch is power-pop for 'now', power-pop for the future - power-pop for anytime, anyplace, anybody - totally rockin' massively catchy, impressively executed - wow The Scratch can get it on!! Aint that the truth!!

Once again, thanks a lot Pete for your support!

It’s a Girls Girls Girls Girls World!

Dear Scratchers,

Saturday, saw filming for the video of the bands forthcoming single girls world, the first brand new material to be released since Night Bus or Milk Train…

As you will see from the forthcoming photos … a lot of fun, chaos and mayhem insued as Grim took the lead role of producer ably assisted by host for the day John…
It's amazing how much footage of blokes in their mums dresses is needed for a 2 and a half minute video… thanks to Sarah, Rhian, Lily, Leo and Tigerlily for their assistance/toys/bedroom/makeup and in some cases staring roles and Andy's mum for the dresses … It has to be said The Baron was really on form and lot more sober than normal… although some of his acting did have a certain 'woodenness' to it!...

The single is released at the end of August check here for dates and you'll be the first guys to see the video…
