Purple Turtle, A passionate review from the Trousers

Listen, I'm not sure what's going on in this cruel crap world anymore, if I ever did, but the only true feeling of love, family excluded, is the love of the wonderful people who turn out to see The Scratch. It's Wednesday, there's a threatened tube strike AGAIN, Lazy overpaid, dispassionate EN-GER-LAND are playing, and it's frickin' raining AGAIN!!!! But, Bloody BUT!!!!!!… The Scratch are playing once again to their mighty and loyal following…we know them and we love them ALL. Tonights set fairly bristled with passion, humour and catchy as ebola songs like GIRLS WORLD, CRITICAL MASS AND DEAR MANIAC. The applause was from the heart, it was BIG love from both sides. It wasn't shoe gazing, corporate, skinny jeaned, heat magazined heroin chic'd KOOL… it was a fookin night out with yer mates.

BIG love
David T.
