VOTE The Scratch!!! - For the emerging talent awards!

Dear Scratchers,

Now it appears to insiders that we're doing it somewhat in slow motion!... but we've been nominated as 'Best New Band' and 'Best Live Act' for the Camden Crawl Emerging Talent Awards, which is, as it says for emerging bands and would be rather a good thing to win... being that you've helped us to many glorious victories in the past (who could forget the M.E.N.!!!!) please spend just a minute of your time to click the button on the link

Here's the low down... Thanks so much, vote like mad!

The top 15 voted artists in each category will be announced on the site on the 15th of March, leaving the ETA judging panel to select the final winners of each award from the total pool of 45 short listed artists with the short list being opened up to the public again to decide Peoples Choice Award.

The Panel for this years ETA’s who consist of music professionals with expertise in a variety of areas to help give a balanced perspective. On board this year are:

Stephen Street (producer), James Sandom (artist management – Supervision), Korda Marshall (record label director – Infectious), Natasha Bent (booking agent – The Agency), Akala (artist), Simon Raymonde (record label director – Bella Union), John Leahy (marketing director – Polydor), Toby Langley & Dan Monsell (Rockfeedback), Eddie Lawrence (music editor – Time Out), Charles Holgate (radio producer Rinse FM) and Lisa
Paulon (Camden Crawl organiser).

The final award winners will be announced approximately 3 weeks prior to the Camden Crawl scheduled to take place 1st & 2nd May 2010. Each winner will be invited to play a 30 minute live set at the Emerging Talent Awards stage on one of the 2 days and will be presented with their award.
