The Scratch - Hot as a Blacksmiths.... A

nvil...

Many thanks to everyone who braved the sizzling heat of The Blacksmiths Arms in St.Albans last night, with a velvet curtained backdrop and a general gothic air about the place, The Scratch felt quite at home set up in front of the fire. To be quite honest if felt like it was on most of the night!...

So the last double setter of the summer, saw the band once more hitting top form, as they played to a great mix of old friends, fans, virgins and the odd... odd person... it's great to see the reaction that the new songs are getting, with Weirder than we are probably sneaking top billing over Desire to be thin and Biting on my lip... but you can judge for yourselves this Weds as, the word is that those 3 have been promoted to the 30 minutes set... extra thanks to Lucy and Sam for the help as merch sellers after the gig... we now officially sold out of Grey Medium Mens! Good to see the sturdy looking tables at the pub, managed to take the stage diving too... we don't wanna start paying to play now do we!

Can't wait for Wednesday and a night out in Camden with the Recharged crew and of course a 50ft Woman! One not to miss... it's your last chance before Endorse IT!
